Sutomore

Sutomore is a resort town of Montenegro, located between the cities of Petrovac and Bar. The resort is known for its wonderful sand and pebble beaches with a length of more than 2.5 km.

The small resort town of Sutomore in Montenegro is a vivid example of a modest and cosy place in which you can spend an unforgettable holiday. Sutomore refers to those cities in which tranquillity always reigns. The people here are very friendly and hospitable.

The sea is the main attraction of the resort. The seascape instantly captures its breath. In the Sutogora, this line is erased between the sea and the sky; there is no horizon line, and there is only a subtle transition between different shades of blue. There are many rocks and large rocks scattered near the shore, from which fans of extreme sports love to dive. But tourists should be careful. Firstly, it is not safe to swim under the stones, and secondly, they live a lot of sea urchins. Although, on the other hand, their presence means the ecological purity of water. The sea in this corner of Montenegro is the purest sand and pebble beach.

The main part of the resort area in the summer (approximately from June 1 to September 15) is intended only for pedestrians. The promenade walks along the coast across the city, resting directly on the sea. It is here that you can buy a variety of souvenirs that are actively advertised by shopkeepers and sellers of

numerous tents. There are also numerous cafes with a view of the sea. In 2019, the reconstruction of the embankment began, and a new city square was created.

Sutomore is one of the most inexpensive places of rest on the coast of Montenegro.
