Prčanj
The small resort town of Prčanj is located on the shore of the Kokotor Bay on the Vrmats Peninsula, at the foot of the mountain range of the same name. Once it was one of the prosperous marine centres, along with Dobrota and Perast, the city was famous for its brave sailors and a rich nobility. Now this is reminiscent of numerous old houses and palaces of the XVII-XVIII centuries, which give the place an atmosphere of medieval charm. We also advise you to visit the iconic attraction of Pržni - the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin, which is located in the central square.
In Prčanj, there is a picturesque embankment, a length of 3.5 km, which leads along the winding coastline with small bays. Here are the best fish cafes and restaurants. There are only two well-maintained public beaches in the resort, but this is compensated for by clean and calm water and beautiful views of the bay and majestic mountains. The beaches are concrete, with small, gentle small-cooking approaches.
In 1920, Prčanj was recognised as a natural and climatic resort, thanks to its healing climate. And now, this place attracts connoisseurs of a quiet, measured holiday, away from the bustle of the city and surrounded by natural beauty. From the resort of Prčanj, you can easily reach the nearest cities, which are only 5 km away.
