Luštica
The Luštica Peninsula separates the Bay of Kotor and the Adriatic Sea, and the peninsula itself is divided by the municipalities of Tivat and Herzegovina Novi.
Here you can enjoy a secluded rest surrounded by pristine nature - there are no large cities and developed infrastructure, but the whole peninsula is covered with olive groves, and picturesque small villages are located along the purest turquoise beaches.
Luštica is known for its beaches, the most popular of which are the Plavi Horizont and Žanjice. The sandy beach of Plaví Gorizont is located in the small bay of Pržno Bay near the village of Radovići. The beach is surrounded by a pine forest, its length is slightly more than 300 m, it is fully equipped and has a gentle entrance, which makes it attractive for a family holiday with children. The Galley Beach of Zhánice is located further along the coast in a large bay. Here, turquoise waters are combined with olive groves that surround the entire beach. From here in the summer, there are boats to Herceg Novi.
Luštica has its own attractions - the Blue Cave, known for its extraordinary colour of water, is included in the UNESCO heritage list. Fans of history are advised to visit the small island of Mamula with the remnants of the Austrian fortress, which is located at the entrance to the bay, opposite the beach of Žanjice. And another island of Gospa Od Milo, where the convent is located and the Church of the Blessed Virgin XV.
The center of attraction on Luschitz is the developing resort of Lustica Bay, cozy located in Trashte Bay, just 12 km from the international airport Tivat. It is planned to undertake large-scale construction of a residential complex, luxury hotels, villas, a golf club and all related infrastructure - the embankment with shops and restaurants, spas and yacht clubs. Already now, connoisseurs of luxury holidays in the bosom of picturesque nature can stop in the chic five-star hotel The Chedi Lustica Bay 5* on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.
