Atomska Banja
The resort “Atomska-banya” is recognised internationally for its treatment of rheumatological and neurological diseases, thanks to the unique composition of its mineral water. The resort is situated in the village of Gornja Trepce, in the southwestern part of Šumadija, on the slopes of the Vujan and Bukovik mountains, where the River Banya flows through a gorge. The “Health Path” passes through these places at an altitude of 460 meters above sea level, and walks are an integral part of the therapy that is used in Gornja-Trepca.

The thermal mineral water of the Atomska Banya resort is weakly alkaline, hydrocarbonate, oligomineral, acrothermal. Water temperature +29, 8o C Water analyzes show that the water has an invariable physical and chemical composition and temperature. Water is very rare due to its physical and chemical characteristics. The concentrations of microelements and macroelements, as well as radioactive elements, give the water a characteristic therapeutic effect, which especially affects the nervous and muscle tissue.

HYDROTHERAPY
