Bread Museum, Pechintsy village is a unique museum, created by one person, the artist Jeremiah. In the museum, almost all expositions speak of human labor, starting from ancient times, almost to the present day. The artist acquired the first exhibit for the rich collection of the museum in 1974. Then he traveled a lot in the villages of Serbia. He visited more than 700 villages, collected over 2000 ethnographic items. Among them were tools that were used for cultivating the land, for grinding wheat and corn, as well as accessories for processing dough. Jeremiah built all the museum facilities that house the museum’s exposition, and therefore the museum can be said to be a work of art that is constantly being completed and modified.

Many ethnographic exhibits were not subjected to conservation. Jeremiah consciously went for it: he wanted to make it clear that people were working with these tools. Of course, items are protected, but only minimally to prevent their destruction.
